We have had the great privilege to work with generations of Baja natives, Mexican artisans, builders, and farmers since moving here to Baja ourselves. We have the confidence to build on this land because of them and their knowledge. With their guidance, we can create spaces in the toughest of desert terrains that reveal the most beautiful scapes that are only found in Baja. We feel that it is our duty to work with the land and not against it, and to preserve it while we enjoy it.
Our mission is to let Baja be Baja, and build unique spaces that support the delicate ecosystem, let the water pass through the way it wants to go, let the native tree species and vines cool the planet, and allow for future generations to enjoy this special land.
We are dedicated to using locally sourced building materials when possible, solar energy, natural stone and earth, as well as preserving the native plants and trees to support the animals that depend on them for survival.
